❓What does the therapy with our OrthoNail intramedullary implant look like?
✅ Therapy begins with a qualifying visit, and then with a positive diagnosis, the implant is inserted into the patient’s femur under anesthesia.
✅ The lengthening phase: lasts about 3 months, during which the limb is lengthened by about 1 mm per day. Thanks to a system for monitoring the patient’s treatment progress, the attending physician can monitor the process in real time.
✅ Strengthening phase: involves the soft tissues and lasts 9 months. During this time, emphasis is placed on rehabilitation exercises, allowing the patient to quickly return to full condition.
The entire treatment process with the Orthoget system covered by rehabilitation care, and the patient receives an individualized rehabilitation protocol. Once the desired lengthening is achieved and therapy is complete, the implant is permanently removed, which occurs approximately one year after implantation.
